ΕMVIS participated in Business Innovation Greece’s Workshop
EMVIS successfully participated in the workshop Organised by Business Innovation Greece on the 10th of March with main topic the Open Call on Green Industry Innovation, ICT and Blue Growth, in collaboration with the Hellenic Development Bank, the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE), the Association of Industries of Thessaly and Central Greece (AITCG), and the Federation of Industries of Greece (SBE).
EMVIS’s Research Engineer Kyriakos Kandris gave a presentation about the progress of IFOS project in the section “Presentation of project examples implemented by Greek Project Promoters” of the webinar. In the presentation, key aspects of IFOS project were presented, illustrating the capabilities of operational hydro-ecological forecasting services and early warning systems in the coastal zone. What is more, the benefits of the cooperation with the Norwegian Partners from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU, and the research organization SINTEF Ocean were also highlighted.

Business Innovation Greece will support projects that will contribute to increased competitiveness and profitability for Greek enterprises (and their partners, through innovation in products, services and processes.
The call will make available more than 8,300,000 euro to projects in the areas of:
- Green Industry Innovation
- Blue Growth
- ICT
Business Innovation Programme in Greece
The project is supported by Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein through the EEA Grants and operated by Innovation Norway.
